Sai Aashraya Trust is a registered non-profit organization headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Sai Aashraya's mission is constituted by four pillars: Food & Nutrition, Medicare, Educare, and Sociocare 

Through our service initiatives under these four pillars, we strive to achieve the core values of Equality, Integrity, Unity, and Fraternity. Our vision is to realize these ideals in every location where we work, as they represent the cornerstones of a self-reliant society and are instrumental in fostering Global Harmony and Universal Peace. Is Sai Aashraya a registered charity?

Yes, Sai Aashraya Trust is a registered non-profit organization under Section 12A of the Indian Income Tax Act 1961 and holds 80G certification. This means that donations made to us are eligible for tax benefits under the Income Tax Act. 

Is Sai Aashraya Trust registered under FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act)?

Yes, Sai Aashraya Trust is registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA). This allows us to accept foreign contributions and grants in accordance with the regulations set by the Government of India. 

Is Sai Aashraya registered as a non-profit in the USA?

Yes. We are registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States under the name Sai Aashraya INC. EIN – 26-1983198

Sai Aashraya relies on a combination of voluntary individual contributions, grants, and corporate sponsorships through CSR initiatives from within India and Abroad as well. We are committed to financial transparency, and our annual reports provide detailed information on our sources of funding and how the funds are utilized. Every unit of contribution that comes in goes into the actual work and there are no overheads thereby creating the highest impact.

How does Sai Aashraya ensure compliance with Auditing, Tax Filing etc. 

Sai Aashraya consistently undergoes thorough audits conducted by a reputable auditing firm. Our commitment to regulatory compliance extends to diligently following procedures mandated by various Government departments. The Trust annually files Income Tax Returns and proactively addresses any subsequent inquiries from the Income Tax Department or other relevant authorities.
 
In strict adherence to the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010, Sai Aashraya routinely submits required reports to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India
